David’s Playlist

David’s Playlist

Worship in Every Season
February 1–March 22

As Chapel Hill journeys through a season of worship renewal, we’re turning to the book that has shaped worship for thousands of years—the Psalms. David’s Playlist takes us through eight “songs” that trace David’s life and worship journey. Born out of triumphs, fears, and failures, these Psalms teach us what it means to worship God in every season. As we learn from David—the shepherd, the sinner, the singer, and the king—we’ll discover how to bring our whole selves before God and find our voices again as worshipers.

What You’ll Learn and Practice

Over these eight weeks, we’ll grow in:

  • whole-life worship: praise, prayer, confession, trust, and obedience
  • prayer engagement: using the Psalms as God’s prayer book for everyday life
  • biblical understanding: seeing David’s story in salvation history—and how it points us to Jesus, the Son of David

Free Devotional Booklet

To help you go deeper each week, we’ve created a free devotional booklet for individuals, families, and LifeGroups. It includes a 5–10 minute Sunday liturgy for each week’s psalm, plus simple Monday–Saturday prayer rhythms you can repeat all series long.

Booklets will be available in the Lobby starting Sunday, January 25, so you can pick one up before the series begins on February 1.

LifeGroups + Prayer & Worship Night

LifeGroups will be invited to study the Psalms together as the series begins.

We’ll also gather for a Prayer & Worship Night on March 1 at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
