Chapel Hill Kids’ Ministry is all about helping families with kids between Kindergarten and 5th grade worship and grow together! We’re here to inspire, equip and support you as you raise your children. Our goal is to help you in your role as the primary faith builders of your children.

We encourage your family to worship together so you are welcome to have your children join you in the services as a family. On Sundays in Gig Harbor and Tuesdays in Port Orchard, you can also choose for your kids to engage in a special church service just for them with age-appropriate music, lessons, and creative activities that encourage their faith. From check in to check out, their safety is our top priority. Our leaders and volunteers are specially trained, and we have state-of-the-art security procedures designed to keep your kids safe.

In Gig Harbor, K-5th grade Kids’ Worship is offered in person every Sunday during both worship services (the program is identical at 9:00 and 10:30 am). Families can enter through Door C to meet the kids’ team and check their children in. Arrive up to 15 minutes before the service starts. We have self check-in and manned check-in options. We ask that all children wear masks, and we’ll practice physical distancing as we dive into fun, age-appropriate activities! When you drop off or pick up your kids, we also ask you to please wear a mask regardless of your vaccination status.

To supplement in person learning by building faith at home or if you choose to worship remotely we have an online option to teach each weeks God’s Big Story (Bible Story). Get the weekly K-5th grade lessons here.

Paul Hargreaves, the director of Gig Harbor K-5th Kids’ Ministry, would love to connect with you if you have questions or would like to learn more about resources available to help you spiritually lead your family.

In Port Orchard, Kids’ Church happens Tuesday nights at 6:15 pm and Sundays at 10:00 am. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete the check-in progress.

In Port Orchard, please contact Maddy Terry to find out more about the family ministry resources or programs there.
