The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor… Isaiah 61:1-2a
Our mission is, "To mature women in Christ through authentic community.” We do this by connecting, nurturing and discipling women in their various life stages and spiritual pathways.
Rooted in the living and written Word, we influence the way women see and respond to Jesus in an environment where they can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills and minister in the local church, their community and the world. Dedicated women are making a significant difference in our world by their commitment to devote their time, talents and resources to further the Kingdom of God. Won't you join us in the adventure?

If you are interested in a staying in fellowship and growing closer to Jesus via a summer book study, I would like to invite you to join me in reading and discussing The Mind of Christ by T. W. Hunt. I came across this book as I was seeking to truly understand Jesus better and to allow God to truly transform my mind on a moment to moment basis.
I have found it to live up to the claim that is on the cover: To help you understand how God works within you and transforms you, continually renewing and reshaping your mind to reflet more closely His own. The whole focus is on giving you ideas you can apply immediately in your life, to bring you spiritually closer to the perfect example of our Lord".
The book is a relatively short read, but is not a light read! It has 171 pages and 13 chapters. The plan is to read a chapter or two each week and to meet to share what God is teaching us and the changes we are undergoing in the process. We will read, journal or write notes in the book and then meet weekly to pray and share.
