Who is the Holy Spirit? | Come Holy Spirit | Chapel Hill Church Gig Harbor

Is the Holy Spirit a mysterious force to tap into, or a person to actually know? Pastor Ellis opens our new series, Come Holy Spirit, by looking at John 14 and Acts 5 to answer the most foundational question of all: who is he?

We discover five things about the Holy Spirit — he is our paraclete (helper), he is present, he is permanent, he is personal, and he is God. Not spiritual energy. Not a symbol. God himself, personally present with his people.

This month at Chapel Hill we’re praying one of the oldest prayers of the church — “Come, Holy Spirit” — and asking God to help us not just know about the Spirit, but know him.
