Is Revival Coming? | Isaiah 40:12–31 | Chapel Hill Church Gig Harbor

Eagles can soar for hours without a single wingbeat. Most of us live more like chickens — flapping hard just to get a few feet off the ground. Pastor Ellis continues our Heart of Revival series in Isaiah 40, naming five things that make revival feel impossible: human expertise, global superpowers, modern idols, powerful people, and the sheer scale of the world’s problems.

None of them are a match for the God who measures oceans in his hand and weighs mountains on a scale. Revival isn’t coming because we finally found the right strategy — it’s coming because God is coming, and our job is to stop flapping and start hoping in him.

📖 Scripture: Isaiah 40:12-31
