There are times when you need someone to talk to—someone you can trust. Our Care Ministry offers support, guidance, and practical help when life feels overwhelming:

  • Lay Counseling for Individuals and Couples – Our trained, Christ-centered counselors help with non-clinical concerns such as grief, anxiety, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, and questions of faith or identity.
  • Pre-Marriage Mentoring – Prepare for a strong marriage foundation through an assessment and guided sessions with experienced mentor couples. Topics include communication, finances, roles, and spiritual life. Cost: $35.
  • Support Groups – Free groups for adults facing challenges like loss, divorce, illness, trauma, parenting struggles, or young adult transitions. Schedules vary—learn more here.
  • Financial Support – We offer limited assistance (rent, utilities, gas, medical needs), financial guidance, and referrals. Call 253.853.0224 (Mon–Thurs, 9:30 am–3:30 pm) or leave a message.
  • Celebrate Recovery – A Christian 12-step program for anyone facing hurts, habits, or hang-ups. Meets Mondays at Harbor Covenant Church (dinner 5:30 pm, teaching 6:30 pm, groups 7:30 pm).
