Welcoming Two New Leaders
By Ellis White, Senior Pastor
As you know, we’ve been prayerfully searching for the right leaders to help guide two vital areas of our church—Worship and Children’s Ministry. Thank you for your patience, your prayers, and your trust in the process. We’re excited to share that God has provided in a powerful way.
Seth Wolfe, Director of Worship Arts

After a yearlong search, we are thrilled to welcome Seth Wolfe as our new Director of Worship Arts.
Many of you had the chance to experience Seth leading worship just a few weeks ago—and the response was overwhelming. We’ve honestly never heard that much positive feedback about a guest worship leader. It was clear to many of us that there is something special about the way Seth leads.
Seth brings a deep passion for Christ-centered worship and a heart for creating environments where people can genuinely encounter God. He has led in a variety of settings—from university chapels to international congregations—and most recently has been serving as the Worship Director at South Hills Church in Burbank, California, leading multiple services and developing volunteer teams.

What stands out most about Seth is his relational, pastoral approach to leadership. He cares deeply about people—not just what happens on stage, but what’s happening in the hearts of those he leads.
Seth is married to Olivia, who grew up here at Chapel Hill. We’re grateful for that connection and excited to welcome them both into this community.
We are confident that Seth is the right leader to help guide us into the next chapter of worship ministry at Chapel Hill. And we’re especially excited that Jesse Yi-Gray, our Director of Music, is looking forward to partnering closely with him as we move into this next season. A huge thank you to Jesse for carrying us through this past year.
Crystal Bentley, Director of Children’s Ministry

We’re also excited to welcome Crystal Bentley as our new Director of Children’s Ministry.
Crystal lives right here in Gig Harbor and currently serves as a pre-kindergarten teacher at a local preschool, where she creates engaging, loving, and Christ-centered environments for young children.
She brings over a decade of experience in education and ministry, including serving as a Children’s Director at a large church where she implemented curriculum, recruited and trained volunteers, and built strong ministry systems.

What becomes immediately clear when you talk with Crystal is her deep love for kids and her ability to connect with families. She communicates clearly, partners well with parents, and carries a strong vision for helping children grow in their faith.
We believe her experience, leadership, and heart will be a tremendous gift to our church as we continue building a vibrant and impactful children’s ministry.
We’re so grateful to Sheri Vanderkam, our Interim Director of Children’s Ministry, who has agreed to stay on through Crystal’s arrival and beyond to help us to lead our Mega Sports Camp this August 3-6. This will be a powerful way to reach out community for Jesus, and we hope that you will be part of it, registering your own kids and inviting others in our local community to do the same. Find out more here.
Looking Ahead
Both Seth and Crystal will be joining us starting Sunday, June 14, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
God has been at work in this season—guiding, providing, and preparing us for what’s next. We truly believe the future is bright at Chapel Hill, and we’re grateful to step into it together.
Great things are ahead.
