Chapel Hill Habitat Home

Chapel Hill Habitat Home

Let’s build a place called home.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps people build and improve places to call home. They believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to live, and they work to make that a reality for families in need.

On April 23 after both worship services in the Gathering Place at Chapel Hill, you can participate in the “Bless the Beams” event. This is a chance to sign blessings on wood framing pieces that will fill the walls of the Habitat home our church is sponsoring through a Beyond These Walls grant. It’s a wonderful way to show your support for this important cause.

Get involved.

Let us know you’re interested in participating in this initiative by filling out a brief form. We are looking forward to serving together!

Pray:

  • For God to be at work in the lives of the future Habitat homeowners as they attend classes, build skills, and receive housing counseling.
  • For Habitat to have good relationships in the Gig Harbor neighborhood where they will be building three homes.
  • For the construction timeline. Construction permits are ready and they’re lining up subcontractors for infrastructure work! Pray that it will all come together in a timely manner.

We will continue to update this web page with new information as it becomes available. Questions? Contact Local Outreach Coordinator Chandra Hallam.
