Cancer Care (women)
Thursdays, 3:30-5:00 pm
Cancer Care is a support group for anyone going through cancer…all types and all stages. It’s a place to share….where you are understood and encouraged every week.
We have been meeting for more than 20 years. We find it easier to go through cancer with others who understand.
Cancer Care meets throughout the year with the exception of December and August.
We meet in the Fireside Room at Door A near Rosedale.
Questions? Please call Sandy Jasper at 253-514-9716.
Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30 pm
DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce. Join us every Wednesday at 5:30 (dinner) and 6:30 pm (group meeting in the third-floor conference room) through May 25.
Tuesdays, 1:00-3:00 pm
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare groups meet weekly for 13 weeks to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each week, the group will watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives. During the week you will have the opportunity to use a workbook for further personal study of the grieving process and to help sort out your emotions through journaling. Your group will spend time discussing questions and comments from the workbook study.
We meet in Room 114 (enter through Door H).
Everyone receives a free booklet (made possible thanks to a generous donation by a Chapel Hill member).
