Last Day at PSU

Last Day at PSU

May we all first thank you for your prayers for this mission!

Second, it is a bittersweet message to write about our last day on mission. Oh, how we saw the Lord do good: hearts forever changed; beaming smiles; unity of our CHPC team, and broader mission team; strength to go on when we were tired and exhausted; boldness to share Truth; students to come; students to return; for grace and mercy when talking with people; fortitude…the list goes on.

Our last day began with a beautiful morning of worship, as all the days began, however with it being the last day, there was a bittersweetness to the morning. We gathered closer together, Shawn encouaging us to gather around tight. It was a picture of what we had become as a team: closer, united in the Spirit, more love for one another. Our spirits were high on the last day. We gathered late – around 9:45 p.m. –  in a big circle and loved on each other before all going our separate ways.

Our CHPC team celebrated with a dinner and we got to talk about what the mission meant to us, and our initial thoughts and what the Lord had shown us so far.

The communication has continued on our What’sApp about  connections and conversations that have continued. That’s where we need continued prayers – for the people we interacted with- for them to be connected on the campus and part of Biblical, Christian community in the local area.

We are eager to share this Sunday at both services, so please pray for God to move in us to direct us in our thoughts and give us wisdom to share the parts of the trip that best show the work of the Lord. There are so many pieces and these emails have tried to give you a glimpse into the activity throughout the week.

Thank you so very much for the love, support, prayer and encouragement!
