FAITHFUL GENEROSITY
Giving at Chapel Hill isn’t just about meeting a budget. It’s about discipleship. Scripture tells us we give so that we may learn to revere the Lord our God always (Deut. 14:23). When we tithe and give offerings, we are practicing obedience, trust, and worship. Generosity shapes our hearts to look more like Jesus—loosening the grip of greed and opening us to joy.
Every gift becomes part of your journey of discipleship. It’s not about what God wants from you, but what he wants for you.
Your giving fuels ministry here and around the world. Because of faithful givers:
- The gospel is shared locally and globally.
- People are baptized and discipled in Christ.
- Students are equipped and sent on mission.
- Families are cared for in times of crisis.
In fact, 10% of our annual general budget goes directly to spreading the gospel, and another 15 percent goes to our Beyond These Walls fund to love our neighbors, make disciples, and raise up and send leaders.
You can view your giving statements online through Chapel Hill Connect.

- Legacy Planning
- “Legacy Estate Planning” is deciding how your assets and liabilities will be handled after you die or become incapacitated and who can make decisions for you or your “estate” according to your wishes. It’s a way to ensure your wishes are carried out and things are distributed smoothly to your beneficiaries. For example, upon your death, Chapel Hill or a charity might receive a percentage of your estate value or be the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Estate planning is something everyone should do. We have partnered with biblically based estate planning specialists to provide free comprehensive estate planning assistance tailored to the needs of Chapel Hill members. 5-YEAR VISION
Over the next five years, we have a vision to care for our local community with mercy and compassion, equip our people to share the gospel so that others would discover new life in Jesus, and prepare and mobilize the next generation to live a victorious life on mission for Jesus Christ.
JOURNEY OF GENEROSITY
We believe generosity is a journey, not a one-time act. Wherever you are on your generosity journey—taking a first step or practicing lifelong faithfulness—you’re invited to join God’s work.
