What to Expect


Q: What should I expect when I visit Chapel Hill for the first time?
Finding a church home can feel like a big step—whether you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or looking for a fresh start. At Chapel Hill Church, you are welcome.

We’re a community where people of all backgrounds can come as they are, encounter Jesus, and grow in faith together. No perfect people required.

Q: What time is worship and how long is the service?
We worship together every Sunday at 10:00 am, both in person and online. Services are just over an hour and include music, prayer, a Bible-based message, and ways to connect and grow.

You can join the livestream on our YouTube channel or catch the replay of the sermon later.

Q: Where is Chapel Hill Church located?
Chapel Hill Church is located at 7700 Skansie Avenue, Gig Harbor, WA 98335,

  • Main entrances are on Skansie and Rosedale.
  • Parking for limited mobility is in the first aisle near the main entrance.

Q: What should I wear to church?
Whatever’s comfortable. You’ll see jeans, khakis, dresses, shorts—some dress up, some don’t. You’ll fit right in either way.

Q: Is there childcare or kids’ programming?
Yes! Kids are an important part of our church family.

  • Childcare (birth–pre-K) is available during worship all year.
  • Elementary Kids’ Worship is available during the service; During July, Kids’ Worship takes a break (kids sit with families and get activity bags), and resumes in August.
  • Check-in stations are near HeBrews Coffee Shop. Our greeters are happy to assist.
  • A Family Room is available for parents with fussy little ones.
  • A nursing mom’s area is in the nursery.

We follow a robust Child Protection Policy to keep kids safe and cared for.

Q: What about middle and high school students?
Students are always welcome in worship. Middle school or high school students can worship with you. High schoolers often sit together (front left section of the Sanctuary).

Q: Is there coffee?
Yes! You’ll find great coffee and community here.

  • HeBrews Coffee Shop is open Sundays from 8:30 am–noon and Wednesdays from 9:00–11:00 am.
  • Enjoy Coffee Oasis drinks, whole-bean coffee, and the occasional $1 donut voucher.
  • Free coffee and tea are also available in the Gathering Place.

Your purchases at HeBrews supports Coffee Oasis, one of our Local Outreach partners. Coffee Oasis is a Christian non-profit in Washington State that operates coffee shops to fund support, shelter, and job training programs for at-risk and homeless youth.
