TEAM PURPOSE:

Every week we share the grace of Jesus Christ with our neighbors living outside by equipping the Tacoma Rescue Mission search and rescue van. Providing practical needs with compassion becomes a bridge to conversation. We give families and LifeGroups a way to participate from home or adults can join the van.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Host the donation drop off at the church Fridays at 3:00 pm
• Recruit groups for specific needed donations
• Tacoma Rescue Mission pick-up and drop off
• Volunteer communications (email, forms, socials)
• Amazon purchaser

SPIRITUAL & PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Mercy and compassion. Depending on the role: people skills, coordination, administration, encouragement. Good communication skills on a team. Some roles require computer skills such as Signup Genius.

TIME COMMITMENT

Weekly drop-off is one hour and hosts can rotate. Communicate with your team to maintain weekly rhythm and share the load.
