Grounds Care Team

TEAM PURPOSE:

Help provide a welcoming environment for congregation members and guests by assisting the staff in our grounds upkeep and beautification.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain flower beds, pull weeds, “fluff” bark
• New plantings
• Add bark and other ground cover
• Pressure washing
• Attend scheduled work days

SPIRITUAL & PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Willingness to serve and desire to help create a welcoming environment for congregation members and guest. Love working in the garden and serving with their hands.

TIME COMMITMENT

Attend pre-organized “all-church” work days that may be scheduled – i.e., Spring or Fall Cleanup. In addition, Life Groups may work with the Assistant Facilities Manager (Staff Coach) to schedule reoccurring times their group may serve.
