early childhood Wednesday night Team

TEAM PURPOSE:

We care for young children, babies through preschoolers, while parents attend evening programs- creating a warm and safe environment for families. Confidence in our early childhood rooms enables young families to feel comfortable attending worship. Children are respected as young believers, receiving age-appropriate experiences that build faith.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play with young children or hold and rock babies.
• Follow guidance from our Nursery leader and teachers.
• Maintain clean, safe nursery spaces and preschool rooms. 
• Contribute to the warm atmosphere by sharing faith.
• Interact positively with all family members.

SPIRITUAL & PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for upbeat and friendly individuals who can contribute to our positive atmosphere. No experience in childcare is necessary, we will teach/model best practices for all team members. There are paid staff present at all times who handle diaper changes and assist in restrooms.

TIME COMMITMENT

This is a very time flexible volunteer job. Some volunteers work every Wednesday, some work once per month or on an A/B rotation. Others are on hand to occasionally sub.
