ALPHA TABLE LEADER

TEAM PURPOSE:

To create a safe space for Alpha guests to share meaningful conversation in small groups about life’s big questions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Discussion facilitation of small group
• Thoughtful participation in team meetings and trainings
• Praying for guests throughout week and in person at weekend
• Creating welcoming environment for guests of all backgrounds

SPIRITUAL & PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to facilitate conversation
Great at asking open questions
Good at listening
High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
Enthusiastic about Alpha as a tool for life transformation
Good at re-directing “talkers” in a small group
Able to relate to and connect with unbelievers (not “churchy” in their communication)
Intentionally invests in, prays for and invites the unchurched and de-churched to explore faith as part of their everyday life.

TIME COMMITMENT

8 Alpha Sessions from 6 – 8:30pm; Alpha Weekend Friday 6 – 8:30pm; Alpha Weekend Saturday 9 – 4:00pm; 2 Training Sessions 6:30 – 8pm
Expectation is you serve for everything in one Alpha session. We run Alpha three times per year, but you don’t have to serve at all three.
