Modern Worship

Chapel Hill is one church community with two slightly different stylistic expressions. At our 9:00 am classic service, you’ll probably encounter slightly more traditional music. It might feel a little more formal, but not too much. Our 10:30 am modern service includes music led by a contemporary worship team and tends to have a lively feel. Both services are a little more than an hour long (give or take) and feature the same message. Families and their children are always welcome at both services, and we have a Family Room adjacent to the Sanctuary so you can still participate in the service even if you have a wiggly worshipper at your side. There are also comfortable seats and TV monitors in the Lobby if you need to pop out of the Sanctuary for any reason. Middle school and high school students often sit together in the first pews on the left side of the Sanctuary at the 10:30 am service.
