WELCOME TO CHAPEL HILL PRESCHOOL!

Chapel Hill Preschool in Gig Harbor has been teaching and loving children since 1999. Our program is a Christ-centered learning experience for children ages two through five. Our experienced, professional teachers love guiding children through play-based learning. Your child will learn to love Jesus while developing the social and academic skills needed to successfully move on to kindergarten, all while having lots of fun!

Our schedule is guided by the needs and interests of our students. A typical day will include a wide variety of learning experiences that incorporate both large and small group activities, and independent learning tasks in the areas of cognitive skills, science, arts, literature, and play. Children will have many free choice activities as well as teacher led lessons. Built into all of these activities are many opportunities to share biblical truths.

CLASSES
2-year-old classes
Children must be 2 by September 1. Children are divided between younger 2s and older 2s. This is a 2-day-a-week program, 9:00 am-noon, either Monday and Tuesday, or Wednesday and Thursday. We will contact you to let you know what section your child will be in, based on total enrollment of this age group.

3-year-old classes
Children must be 3 by September 1. We have 2 classes that meet 3 days a week, Monday-Wednesday, 9:00 am-noon.

3-hour Pre-K
Children must be 4 by Sept 1. This class meets 9:00 am-noon Monday-Thursday. This class is ideal for children that have siblings in our younger classes (same dismissal time) and our younger children that intend to enroll in our Pre-K/TK option the following year.

4-hour Pre-K (4s)
Children must be 4 by September 1. This class meets 9:00 am-1:00 pm Monday-Thursday. This is ideal for children that are ready to eat lunch at school and extend their day with the intention of attending Kindergarten the following year.

4-hour Pre-K/TK (4 1/2-5s)
This class is designed for children that will be at least 4 years, 6 months by Sept 1, or already 5 years old. The Pre-K/TK curriculum is ideal for 1st-year Pre-K or as a 2nd-year Pre-K/TK option that will cater to the unique learning benchmarks of 5-year-olds.

NOTE: Children must be potty trained to attend our 3-year, Pre-K and TK programs.
