THE HEART OF REVIVAL

A Journey Through Isaiah 40–66

September 13 – November 22 | Sundays at 10:00 am

Every generation eventually finds itself praying the same simple prayer:

“Lord, do it again.”

But what do we really mean by revival?

Is it emotional excitement? Extraordinary events? A moment in history? Or is it something much deeper?

This fall, Chapel Hill Church invites you on a journey through Isaiah 40–66, where God speaks words of comfort, hope, holiness, justice, and restoration to weary people. Together we’ll discover that revival is not something we manufacture. It is God drawing near to renew his people, awaken faith, restore hope, and send us into the world with his love.

Whether you’ve followed Jesus for decades or you’re simply curious about Christianity, this series is an invitation to seek God together.

WHAT YOU’LL DISCOVER

Throughout this series we’ll explore eleven questions that lead us from longing…to awakening…to mission…to hope.

  • What is revival?
  • Is revival coming?
  • Whom will God use?
  • What is at the heart of revival?
  • What is the message of revival?
  • What is the invitation?
  • What is God’s vision for his people?
  • How should revival affect society?
  • What is the source of revival?
  • How should we pray for revival?
  • Where will it all end?

Week by week we’ll discover that Isaiah’s vision isn’t merely about personal renewal—it points us toward Jesus Christ and the promise that God is making all things new.
