SERVE DAY
Loving and Serving Our Neighbors
Sunday, November 1 | 10:00 am
Worship Center + Serving Throughout Our Community
Serve Day on November 1 is an opportunity for our whole church family to respond to God’s renewing work by loving and serving our neighbors. True revival is something God does, renewing his people by his presence and grace—and when God renews us, it changes how we live. We’ll begin at 10:00 am in the Worship Center with a shortened 30-minute worship service and a message from Isaiah 58, then we’ll be sent out to serve through Tacoma Rescue Mission, Kitsap House—our church plant in Port Orchard—and local schools. Some opportunities will take place at Chapel Hill, including a Compassion Kit Build, while others will send us into our surrounding communities. Serving times vary by opportunity, from about 30 minutes to two hours. Parents and K–5th graders can serve together, while families with babies–PreK can participate together in Mini-Serve in the Neel Chapel. Early Childhood programming for babies–PreK will be available during the worship service only. Light refreshments will be provided whether you’re serving on campus or off, or feel free to pack a lunch. Sign up to choose your serving opportunity, and help us prepare for the Compassion Kit Build by purchasing needed hygiene items from our Amazon Wishlist.
