TEAM PURPOSE:

At Alpha everything we do is powered by prayer. One of our key values is reliance on the Holy Spirit. We want to cover every detail of Alpha with prayer and ask for God’s wisdom and insight into how to join in with what he is already doing in our guest’s lives. As such we have a prayer team who meets during the Alpha session each week to pray together in addition to a larger group of people praying during the week from home.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet with prayer team during Alpha session. 
• Pray using submitted prayer requests.
• Pray using prompts of topic for the week
• Connect with table leaders to understand prayer needs
• Pray as a team during the Alpha weekend

SPIRITUAL & PRACTICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Desire to see lives transformed by God
• Faith that God answers prayer
• Openness to hear from God

TIME COMMITMENT

Pray one week or many during an Alpha session. Group meets weekly during Alpha session and during the Alpha weekend (especially on the Saturday)
