Every life leaves a legacy.

Legacy Sunday is one of Chapel Hill’s most meaningful annual worship services—a time to pause, remember, and give thanks for faithful members of our church family who entered God’s presence during the past year.

Together we’ll celebrate lives marked by faith, service, generosity, and love for Jesus Christ. As we read their names and worship together, we’ll be reminded that God’s faithfulness spans generations and that the hope of the resurrection belongs to all who trust in Christ.

Legacy Sunday isn’t simply about looking back. It’s an opportunity to thank God for those whose faith continues to shape our lives and to consider how we might faithfully live our own lives for his glory.

Following worship, everyone is invited to the Gathering Place at 11:45 am for our third annual Legacy Estate Planning Conversation & Lunch. This free event, hosted by our trusted partner, Philanthrocorp, offers practical guidance about estate planning from a biblical perspective, along with a complimentary taco bar lunch.

Childcare for birth–PreK and elementary kids’ programming is available.
