CELEBRATE RECOVERY

WORKING THROUGH HURTS, HABITS AND HANG-UPS

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-based, 12-step recovery program for any adult struggling with hurt, pain, addictions, or habits. Participants meet weekly in a healing and safe community to find freedom from issues that are controlling our life.

The purpose of CR is to find God’s healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps. By working the Christ-centered steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow and heal spiritually.

The Wednesday night program begins at 6:30 pm in Memorial Chapel (use Door B), with worship for the whole group followed by a message of hope, and a time of open share groups (7:30-8:20 pm) where people can dig into their struggles in a safe and caring community.

If this is your first time, we will host you in our “Newcomers 101” class where we will give you an overview of the ministry and what to expect the next time you attend CR.

Childcare and Kids Worship is available for children ages 5-months through 5th grade, and our Middle School Ministries Youth Group runs at the same time as CR for kids in 6th-8th grade.

Beyond Wednesday nights, participants can join a deeper dive into recovery through a Step Study. Come and attend Celebrate Recovery to find out more about this life changing journey toward hope and healing.

Open share groups currently include:

Men:  

• Compulsive Behaviors/Anger/Addiction
• Mixed Issues/Life Wounds (for any hurt or concern and a great start to understanding life struggles)

Women: 

• Compulsive Behaviors/Addiction
• Food Issues (for any unhealthy relationship with food, not limited to disorders)
• Mixed Issues/Life Wounds
