Completing a Promotion Request helps the Communications Department do its job in helping you get the word out. Please do not lobby staff directly for promo requests! This is unfair to them (putting them on the spot) and doesn't help them keep records of requests. Fill out a request.

The EPC Book of Order says it is the duty and responsibility for the Session to "organize itself for the advancement of the ministry of the Church and the mission of that congregation". To best accomplish that task the Session has adopted Policy Governance, as the method it uses to organize and control all the duties and responsibilities it has to govern and direct the Church.
