 | Celebrate Recovery Thursday 6:30-9:30pm Gathering Place |
At some point in our lives, most of us realize that our hurts, hang-ups and habits are getting in our way. They can suffocate, restrict and rob us of our joy. We may ignore our struggles with codependence, compulsiveness, marital struggles, control issues, the ghosts from our family of origin, etc. But we crave healing and long for spiritual growth. This can be provided through a supportive, compassionate, confidential community of faith.
Christ-based 12-Step Recovery Program Weekly Step Study Groups These groups lay the foundation for the 12 steps to recovery and enable people to discover "what's up" with them in a confidential, supportive setting. Participants seem to come from diverse, yet amazingly similar, life experiences. As fears subside, participants feel that the group is "a safe place to be."
Participants join hands and journey through the 12 step process—one step at a time. Love, honesty and accountability, along with sponsor and mentor relationships, are an integral part of this ongoing program.
Do I have to belong to Chapel Hill to participate? No! The entire community is welcome to join us. We are committed to present Jesus Christ, who is the compassionate and powerful solution to our powerlessness over sin, over self, over all addictions and compulsions.
Is there a charge for the program? Nope. There is no charge for any of Celebrate Recovery's programs. We make our study guides and related materials available at our cost.
