LifeGroups
 
 
 
LifeGroups are small accountability groups, usually made up of 6 to 10 people of the same or mixed gender, who typically meet weekly for reflection upon Scripture. They are shepherded by leaders who are personally responsible and accountable for the mission and vitality of their LifeGroups. They are equipped for this calling by faithful participation in monthly leadership training (Leader Huddle). LifeGroups include Cove Groups, Women's Groups, Men's Groups, Couples Groups, Singles Groups, D-Groups, and more.

LifeGroups are an integral part of how we work together to present everyone mature in Christ. They are Christ-centered, missional communities formed to reflect upon Scripture.

 


LifeGroups are self-sustaining and increasingly...
    • Prayer-ful (both within and outside of meetings with one another)
    • Care-ful (the first-line community of mutual care to one another) 
    • Dare-ful (courageously transparent and accountable to one another)

How do I get into a group?
The easiest way to join a group is to be personally invited into one. However, not everyone knows someone who belongs to a group that is looking for new members. Fortunately that needn't prevent you from getting involved. There are several other ways to get connected in a Life group. 
 

GroupLink 

GroupLink is a 60-minute event where you connect with people in your community looking for just the right LifeGroup. Join us for food, music, interaction with new friends and new groups. Meet both leaders and other members of the groups in a comfortable environment. LifeGroup Leaders from Chapel Hill representing post-college, singles, couples, mixed groups, men and women will be available to meet and talk with you about their groups. Adult Classes or Events: Chapel Hill offers several different types of classes and events throughout the year that are sponsored by our LifeGroups Ministries. These offer easy ways to try a new group. Peruse our classes and events for current offerings. 

Welcome to the Family: Not yet a member of Chapel Hill Church? Consider participating in our next membership class. As part of this offering you will have the chance to try out a LifeGroup. For details on the next Welcome to the Family class, contact Barb Wentlandt at 853.0231.

If none of these options work for you, contact Patti Weaver and she will work to personally connect you with a group. You are also invited to stop by the LifeGroup table in the church lobby on Sunday mornings to speak with someone about getting connected to a LifeGroup.
