Throughout the year, the Chapel Hill Missions department hosts events highlighting our church’s values and worldwide engagements. These range from fair-trade festivals, to missions education classes, to world class speakers. All of these events are opportunities to engage... many of them need volunteers to function. Join us, and invite a friend!
We always accept clean, new or gently used shoes and clothes and non-perishable food on the first Sunday of every month (with rare exceptions). You may leave your donations by your car in the parking lot, or bring them into the lobby where volunteers will receive them.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not collect household items, small appliances, dishes, holiday decorations, school supplies, or electronics. The exception to this is the occasional special request.
If you have questions or want to donate an unusual item, please email Bev Levenson or call 253.851.5969.
FESTIVAL OF HOPE
Give gifts with a purpose this holiday season. Festival of Hope is a true fair trade marketplace, where all the items sold are crafted by people in safe, healthy, and ethical working conditions, whether in the USA, Haiti, Thailand, or beyond.
You’ll find handmade jewelry, trendy handbags, organic coffee and chocolate, children’s items, seasonal scarves/gloves/hats, vibrant decor, and more. And the best part: profits return to support workers, farmers, and families around the world.

Share Festival of Hope at work, school, the gym, your church--anywhere there's people who like to shop with a purpose! We've got a printable poster just for you!
Setup, display, and merchandising volunteers needed November 16-19! Do you have an eye for retail display and making it look appealing to customers? Do you love decorating, and would like to create table centerpieces?
We're looking for a team to help us beautify vendor space and Women's Breakfast tables for Festival of Hope. If merchandising isn't your thing, we need setup help during first shift!
Email Desiree Jordan with any questions.
