Go Teams

Go Teams

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations... teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you;
and I am with you always, even to the ends of the earth.”
Matthew 28:19-20

At Chapel Hill, our short-term global outreach teams are called GO Teams because we believe God calls us out beyond our comfort zones. This call to be on mission can be in your neighborhood, your region, or across the world as ambassadors of God's reconciling love. The hope is you will experience growth in your relationship with Jesus as you seek to embody His love in word and deed in cross-cultural communities.

Being "present" with communities worldwide is a core value of our teams – as important as anything we are “doing” or “accomplishing” on a trip. Because we have tasted the transforming power of Christ, we recognize that we have as much to learn and receive as we have to offer. GO Teams are well-prepared and sent with confidence that their character, attitude, and work ethic will shine as lights wherever they go. Our teams are prayed for diligently by Missions staff and Chapel Hill family as we anticipate God's work in the lives of all involved. Check out the GO Teams launched this year and consider joining us!

This is a great first-time international trip to experience the restoration Jesus brings in hard places.
