Join us for a service of praise and thanksgiving and celebrate the Lord's Supper.
One of our Chapel Hill LifeGroups will collect urgently needed items for FISH Food Bank during the Thanksgiving Eve worship service.
See most needed items here. Bring your items to in-person worship before you enter the building (outside the main entrance) or you can drive up to the building and drop them off before or after worshipping online at home.
Prepare for Communion: Because communion is best experienced in person, we invite you to make every effort to attend the Thanksgiving eve service in the Sanctuary. We will provide you with sealed communion elements as you enter so that you and your household are the only ones who will touch them. For those of you who are unable to attend in person, we invite you to purchase bread and juice and have them ready in your home as you worship with us online. However you participate, please be in prayer and joyful expectation as we prepare for celebrating the Lord's Supper!
Send us your Thanksgiving selfie videos! Typically we spend time during the service sharing with each other what we are thankful for, and this year it is more important than ever! Instead of sharing an open mic though, we're asking you to videotape yourself selfie-style on your phone or computer telling us what you're thankful for this year. Send those video to us by uploading them to Google Drive and sharing them with Jenna Arnold, or you can always use another file sharing medium. We'll put them together in a video to share with the congregation this Thanksgiving Eve. Thank you to our amazing church family for being flexible and pivoting with us during this season!
Filming tips: Film in front of a plain background without a window or light source behind you. Try to make sure it's quiet. Barking dogs and screaming children are beloved, but not on film! Speak directly to the camera, and don't worry about editing your video. We'll do the editing magic! If you need assistance getting the video to us, please contact Jenna Arnold and she will be happy to help you out!
