Sound & Sand Encounters: Bridging the Divide
April 14-26, 2011
The second half of the Sound & Sand Encounter will take place April 2011. The same 27 participants will meet up again, this time in Wadi Rum, Jordan. They will be sleeping in tents in the desert (Bedouin camp), riding camels, jeeps and hiking. The young adults will continue to be challenged towards becoming agents of peace and change. It will also include a sightseeing tour for the American participants in Israel and the Palestinian Territories.
Prayer Requests:
- For continued transformation for the participants and for Chapel Hill
- Finances
- Safety in the Land of Jesus
- For checkpoints to be easily crossed and accessed by all Israelis, Palestinians and Americans
