Our Focus project for May is Abundance Sunday. 

Abundance Sunday is a partnership with Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, WCCW (Washington Correction Center for Women) in Gig Harbor, and Tacoma Street Ministries, by means of which we are able to provide these entities with clothing.  We do this by asking our members and friends to pick up an Abundance Sunday bag and list of needed items on the last Sunday of each month. They then fill the bags with clean clothes in good condition and return the bags to church the following week, which is the first Sunday of the next month. We collect them that day, sort them on Monday, and distribute donations to the our three partners during that week.

We would like to recruit a coordinator and volunteers for this project.  The coordinator would be our contact person and would make calls to organize people to collect bags on Sundays and sort clothing on Mondays.  We also need someone to pick up clothes from a storage unit and someone to deliver them to Trinity Church in Tacoma.
