Care Groups   Chapel Hill offers several support ministries for the congregation and the community: Cancer Care: support for those who have cancer or who care for those who do. Women: Contact Sandy at 851.9216. Men: Contact Bill at 851.7111. Care & Share: Chapel Hill and community women in their "golden years" meet at 12:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month for lunch and Christian fellowship. Call Gerry at 858.1110 or Donna at 853.4694 for more information. Compassionate Companions: a ministry to enable children, youth or young adults to participate at Chapel Hill regardless of their unique needs. We hope to address the specific needs - great or small - of each individual. To register as a helper or to register an individual for the program, please contact Shirley Wirthgen. Deacons Ministry: if you need financial or other assistance, give us a call. We can help. Our Deacons are organized into eleven ministry teams. Call the Deacons at 853.0224.  Good Grief: support group for those dealing with the death of a loved one. Women meet for lunch at 12:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of every month and for a group meeting at 1:30pm on the second Thursday of every month. Men meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 1:30pm. Grief Support Group: Coping with grief is a lonely and exhausting road littered with confusing feelings and decisions about what should happen next. This drop-in community group meets weekly to serve any adult who has suffered the loss of a loved one through illness, accident or suicide. You will find companions here to journey with you in this new season of your life. Contact Nancy at 225.7795. Fostering Hope: a community ministry that supports foster families & birth families and assists families in crisis. This support group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm. Prayer Chain: receive a daily e-mail with details of situations that require prayer. Contact Dawn Weaver at 851.7779. Prayer Requests: Submit prayer requests to be sent out on the Monday through Friday Prayer Chain emails. Prayer Team: prayer teams that support people with needs after our worship services. Contact Barb Wentlandt at 853.0231. Visitation Ministry: volunteers share fellowship, love and care with our hospitalized & assisted-living members and those who are homebound.
