SMALL GROUPS Small Groups are designed to connect people at Chapel Hill by helping them to build community, care for one another and discover their callings. This is accomplished by learning, worshiping, playing and serving together regularly. We have several different community groups: Women's and Men's small groups, support groups, various affinity groups and Cove groups. (Cove groups are mixed groups, men and women, young and old, whose connection to begin with is faith, but who establish many and varied further connections by virtue of the time they spend together.) How do I get into a group? The easiest way to join a group is to be personally invited into one. However, not everyone knows someone who belongs to a group that is looking for new members. Fortunately that needn't prevent you from getting involved. We can help you find a group that's right for you. Please fill out our Small Groups Form or contact Patti for more information. Participating in a "Welcome to the Family" class is also a great way to get connected in a small group. If you are not currently a member of Chapel Hill, consider signing up for our membership class. At the completion of this weekend, you will have the opportunity to try a small group experience. For more information on the next WTTF class, please contact Barb Wentlandt at 853-0231. Resources for groups... Did you know that there are funds available to assist your group in serving? Gather 2 Go Grants are available to assist groups in finding and funding creative ideas for exercising their commitment to GO as a part of their journey toward maturity in Christ. For more information contact Patti, or complete an application if your group is interested in this assistance. AFFINITY GROUPS
