Seniors at Chapel Hill

 

Chapel Hill celebrates its seniors... the cornerstones of the congregation. They bring wisdom, having weathered some storms and planted some seeds. They are a warm, welcoming group who enjoy fellowship with each other and with the rest of our Chapel Hill family. We invite you to come to any of the gatherings listed below and give them a try. They would love to get to know you.

• Cornerstones
  Are you 55 or older? Cornerstones is a fellowship group that meets at Chapel Hill the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. We gather for an informal dinner ($8.00), followed by an interesting program like a music performance, a guest speaker, or a glittering special event. Contact Barb at 853.0231 with questions.
  
  
• Caregivers' Support Group
  Do you have a major responsibility of providing care for a friend or member of your family? Even caring for someone in a nursing home can be very stressful. Getting together with others who are going through the same experience can help to lighten this load. We offer one another empathy, information and prayers to help with this often overwhelming task. • Good Grief
  The loss of a loved one can be a devastating experience. If you need help, or just a friend, during this difficult time, Good Grief support group is available. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month. Call Ray and Patti at 851.7446.
  
  
• Care & Share
  Chapel Hill and community women in their "golden years" meet at 12:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month for lunch and Christian fellowship. Call Gerry at 858.1110 or Donna at 853.4694 for more information.
